Romeo and Juliet help ASAP!? I really don't know what to think of this question... What reason does Juliet give her parents for refusing to marry Paris? A. Paris has not properly courted her yet. B. She has secretly married Romeo. C. She thinks Paris loves Rosaline, not her. D. Paris is an enemy of the prince. I know it's not C. Rosaline is dead. And, it couldn't be D. either. Honestly, I don't think he was the enemy of any prince... I'm between A. and B. I'm thinking A. though. Because, Juliet never says she is marrying Romeo. She says she'd rather marry Romeo.

A

OpenStudy (arabpride):

NO the answer is definitely B.) because Juliet is surprised when her parents decide that she should marry Paris, because she had just consummated their marriage. It has nothing to do with her view of Paris really, it was that she was secretly married to Romeo.

The correct answer was A. At least I got the question right. Thanks anyways, guys.
