Add the perimeter for one figure So: 7x + 7x + 2x + 2x = 18x The perimeter of the entire figure will not include internal lines So: 7x + 7x + 2x + 2x + 2x + 2x + 2x +2x = 26x Now see how much bigger is the entire figure. 26x/18x = 13/9 Okay im not sure if im right but there's the work
