I need hw help: We're doing pre-algebra (obviously) and I have to make a ratio table of seconds elapsed to liters in a soup. If the equation is v= 4t + 2, how do I convert that to get the first ratio I know this probably makes NO sense, but if it does, please help. :)

how would you do that in a soup, please explain

The letter t stands for time and v is the liters in a soup. You just basically need to substitute t with seconds. So for 1 second, you need to substitute 1 for t and you'll get 6 for v. Then you substitute in 2 for 2 seconds, 3 for 3 seconds, so on. The first ratio would be 1:6 because you'll get 6 liters of soup after 1 second. Then it'll be 2:10 and so on.
