value of the face? so I guess if you don't have any make-up.... not so much valueable as if you had? =)

face value = take it as it's, by the value shown by its sheer face

for example..... say I give you an avocado.... if you notice is rotten, so that's the face value, you can tell is rotten

now if it's good and ripe, then you can also tell that, so that's its face value
