OpenStudy (nincompoop):

identify white's best move

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

OpenStudy (zale101):

I can't survive without my Queen!

OpenStudy (zale101):

let me analyze....

OpenStudy (zale101):

the bishop is dead meat unless u place the rookie behind it

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

think ahead more. consider black's best response to win the game also

OpenStudy (zale101):

i just saw that top pond, who cares about the bishop. Let the pond become the queen!

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

rook will just take it

OpenStudy (zale101):

and if the knight becomes mischievous or stupid and kill the bishop, he'll get killed by the other pond

OpenStudy (zale101):

oh yeah, wait rookie is there. I feel so blind lmao

OpenStudy (zale101):

i'll just go with the first step i suggested. If the bishop gets killed, the white rookie will kill the knight and at the same time defend the future queen.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

think. don't rush

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe white's best move is king to h3. it forces black to move another piece that can only weaken it's position. specifically sacrificing a pawn on the left, or moving the night that guards e8 and e6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

even if black responds with the bluff of threatening the rook, trade, then black has to take the rook with the knight, which he loses immediately to the pawn making queen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i meant knight, not night. i even corrected that typo once while writing it and somehow still ended up un-correcting it at one point or another
