oh my
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok so obv any two moves with the knight will put you in check with the king, and that means the king will either shift parity or not. if he chooses to remain in white tile parity, he creates the risk of being checked by the bishop, so if he's smart he'll move to a black piece after you move your knight
OpenStudy (anonymous):
does black queen on the next move?
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
white to move

okay
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
we can use algorithm also
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i guess f8
OpenStudy (anonymous):
just keep checking the king until you get your knight over to the other side of the board, then let the pawn get queen and take it if you can
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
bishop can only check limitedly

think. don't rush :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i'm aware, you have to be creative, and i do too. i think there's some way to force the king and/or knight onto the left side of the board
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that's why i have no definite answer yet
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
very creative indeed
or knock the board off
OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i still go with f8
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
bishop to F8?
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
d2-d1 promote to Queen
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
to think of the white's best moves, one must consider the black's winning moves too
OpenStudy (anonymous):
then h5 + wins queen

OpenStudy (nincompoop):
I see it very clearly
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
there is no way the white can stop the pawn from becoming a queen
OpenStudy (anonymous):
stalemate?
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
Bb5- e8

OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok then black can't queen on the next move
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
threaten the black with screw as it advances its pawn to becoming a Queen

at least i wrote this right
then h5 + wins queen
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
black's best move is Kf3-g4
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
then white
Be8-d7 +
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
i think from here you can see the stalemate = draw
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
fundamental techniques of screw with bishop and fork with knight
