Take two similar solids. If the ratio of the lengths of the edges is k, then the ratio of the surface areas is k^2, and the ratio of volumes is k^3.
The side lengths are 32 cm and 48 cm. What is the ratio of the smaller one to the larger one in a reduced fraction?

Reduce again. 4 and 6 are both divisible by 2.
