What is the slope of a line parallel to the line with equation 2x – 5y = 9? -9/5 -2/5 -5/2 2/5

you can solve for y when x=0, and x=1 .... the difference in the ys is the slope

OR, solve the equation for y (put it in slope intercept form) and read the slope as the coefficient to the x variable
