OpenStudy (armyrangers):

Look at the prompt for this unit: Was Brutus a betrayer or a patriot? and write a one-sentence statement of your claim. Then write two or three examples of counterclaims to your argument. Provide specific examples from the play to support your claim. Use proper spelling and grammar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think Brutus was a betrayer or patriot?

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

I don't know I mean he killed his friend but saved his country

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i put that he was a Patriot...will you go along with my opinion?

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

I can do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. For the claim in one sentence id put: I believe Brutus was a patriot because he killed Caesar for the sake of Rome so the villagers wont have to live as slaves.

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

ok now how would I do the two or three examples of counterclaims to your argument

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The counterclaims would be: Although Brutus killed Caesar for the sake of Rome, he can also be a betrayer because he just killed Caesar instead of talking to him and considering other options. Also, Brutus decides to kill himself instead of being captured and living the rest of his life in shame for murdering Caesar.

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

ooo thanks now I know how to do this if I good give you more medals I would

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i know c: & your welcome :)
