WELCOME TO OPEN STUDY @whatever15 ! First of all..we know that fungi is a saphrophytic organism..and we know that saphrophytes obtain nutrients from dead and decayed organic matter..They use this organic matter and convert it into inorganic compounds . The primary producers use these inorganic matter in their metabolism.. :)
