Will give medal and fan What is the rate of change from x = π to x = 3 pi over 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

negative pi over 6 negative 6 over pi pi over 6 6 over pi

hartnn (hartnn):

know the formula ?

hartnn (hartnn):

Rate of change = \(\large \dfrac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure how to set it up? I want to learn how to do it, Im not trying to cheat or anything... But I really dont know how to do it.

hartnn (hartnn):

here, a = pi b=3pi/2 f(a) = 0 f(b) = -3 just plug in values!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got -3/1.57.... and that is not one of my answers lol

hartnn (hartnn):

keep pi as it is

hartnn (hartnn):

1.57 = pi/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be -pi/6?

hartnn (hartnn):

-3/(pi/2) = -3*2/pi no, not -pi/6 its -6/pi :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhhhhh xp Duhh.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!!!! :D

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
