The sea snails in tidal marine areas feed on the dominant species of algae. What kind of interaction takes place between the sea snail and the algae?

It would be Parasitism.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Parasitism is when one species benefits and the other is unaffected. The sea snails are benefiting because they are eating. The algae isn't affected though because it's the dominant species.
