Where do new bee hives come from i thought that all the bees just kind of live together why do some of the bees leave and make a new hive?(ps sorry if this is in the wrong subject)

Most beehives are naturally made. For example in the right climate a cave or hollow tree can be used. Domesticated bees live in man-made units. Why the bees leave is a different matter. Many scenarios can occur, I'll give you one. If an old colony is greeted by a new queen the old queen has a decision. Leave the hive or fight. Many queens simply take a group of bees with them to find a new location for a new hive; called a swarm. This creates a new hive and continues an old one. The workers can choose whether or not to follow the new queen or leave with the old one.
