Please help me understand this. An antibiotic reduces growth of a newly discovered bacterium. How will the antibiotic most likely function if it is to inhibit an enzyme in a cell?

(I tried to look in the book but could find anything on antibiotics and trying to search the internet for some sort of understanding did not work either)

@beccaboo333 are you able to help, this is the same question from the other day, no one has helped me and i still don't understand it.upon looking in my book, there is nothing about antibiotics and i searched the internet and couldn't figure it out either
