I am writing instructions for a board game. Could somebody please look these over and see if they are missing anything.

Holocaust Board Game Pieces 2 dice 1 game board 15 questions 4 advanced questions 6 playing pieces 1 set of instructions Game Play Each player roles the dice, whoever has the highest role goes first. Starting with whoever goes first, go in a clockwise circle around the group. On a players turn, he/she will roll the dice. The player will draw a question from the pile, if they get the question right, they move forward the number rolled on the die. If the question is gotten wrong, the player must stay where he is. First player to reach the end wins. Secret Passages Secret passages may be used if the player lands on a gray space. If the player lands on the gray space, he/she must draw an advanced question. If the question is gotten right, the player crosses the secret passage, if the question is gotten wrong, the player must stay still. Bonus and Punishment Spaces Bonus and Punishment spaces have either rewards or punishments written on them. If the player lands on such a space, he/she must follow the instructions on the tile.

The name of the game made me lose interest. Holocaust?

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Gather rounds family and friends!! whos ready to play the kid friendly HOLOCAUST board game?! Yeah!

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Cool I answered before Adry ;)

OpenStudy (adrynicoleb):

It seems fine to me. I would correct your grammar, and like Batman mentioned, the name isn't very exciting. >.<

OpenStudy (adrynicoleb):

DANGIT

OpenStudy (adrynicoleb):

-.-

OpenStudy (jlg030597):

It looks fine to me

I'd definetly jazz up the name and possibly put a blurb that says something along the lines of "the Holucaust wasn't a game, it was a serious matter that affected the lives of over 32 million people during this time". other than that- great work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No I wouldn't mention the holocaust at all, if it's a family friendly board game, why remind them of a terrible time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I assumed that this is for some social studies project that has questions included from prior experience to these types of projects.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah maybe, I guess op didn't clarify, but it still sounds a bit offensive, especially when you have things as "bonus punishment spaces" but eh, I really don't know what it's all about, so I guess I can't say much more, other than if it was up to me, I'd use better wording for the specific parts of the game.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iambatman definetly. When I saw the name, I assumed it was for a project about that time. I guess technically it could be some design class or something that the name has nothing to do with the actual game, then I can see where it could be offensive.
