The graph of a system of equations with the same slope and the same y-intercepts will have no solutions. - Always? - Sometimes? - Never ?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the equations have the same slope and intercepts, the equations are identical ! the solutions are all points on the common line

I was thinking never because wont't this mean that they have an infinite amount of solutions? @jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you are correct

Thank You @jim_thompson5910
