Solve for X Log(x)+ log(x-1) = log(4x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we need to add Log(4x) to both sides first you then end up with log(x-1/4)=0, then cancel logs by taking exp from both sides x-1/4=1 , multiply both sides by 4 then add one to both sides and get x=5
