geometry foundations B connexus NEED HELP!

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

I need help with the tangent lines (eoct2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want to find the eqation of the line

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

do you know this assessment?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know i took that 2 years a go in 6th grade but i have a video on finding the eqation of a trangent line if that can help you

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

Assume that lines that appear to be tangent are tangent. O is the center of the circle. Find the value of X. Figures are not drawn to scale. m<O= 111 degrees.

i is an acute angle thats all i can say but good luck on your assesment

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you have 4 angles, tangents are 90 degrees so you are given: 90+90+111 given

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if anything, you can split the figure and work with a sum of angles for a triangle such that: x/2 + 90 + 111/2 is the sum of the angles of a triangle

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

i dont understand

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

the answers are 291 69 55.5 222

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if you dont know how to add things yet, then im not sure i know how to help you.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

|dw:1398961195716:dw| all thats left is to equate this to the sum of the angles of a triangle ...
