OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

a3=7 a4=7*r a5=7*r*r a6=7*r*r*r a7=7*r*r*r*r a8=*r*r*r*r*r*r

OpenStudy (austinl):

\(\{a,ar,ar^2,ar^3,ar^4...\}\)

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

in general, the formula for term \[a_n = a_1r^{n-1}\]we know that \[a_3 = 7,~r=2\]so\[a_3 = 7 = a_12^{3-1}\]\[7=a_12^2\]You should be able to solve that for \(a_1\) and construct the formula for any term in this sequence. Use that formula to find the 8th term, which is \(a_8\)
