Consult an online dictionary and/or thesaurus to respond to the following prompt in a paragraph of 7 to 10 sentences. Choose five words from five separate lines in the poem, "One Today" by Richard Blanco that you would have changed if you had been the original writer of this poem. Write to explain what changes you would have made with these five word choices and why you would change them in this way. Also explain how the use of the online dictionary and/or thesaurus assists you in making these choices.
I did this assignment not to long ago and got a perfect. Simply look at the words in the poems and choose different words that you think could have a broader word used for it such as using exceptional to replace great. Those aren't words from the speech but you just choose your five words and enter them in at Websters online dictionary and find synonyms for the words you selected. Hope this helps!
Can you give me the answers please ? @cwilliams200812

@kellyjuste sorry for the late response. I wrote the words i changed and what i changed them to above. And the reason is because all the words I changed them to are broader words than the words in the speech originally and it offers more of an emphasizes. Online dictionary helps because you can enter the word you want to change and it will give you a list of words that mean the same thing and gives you the meaning behind each of the words. It will allow you to broaden up the words used.
thank you @cwilliams200812
