GRADE ELEVEN PHYSICS (ELECTRICITY) a circuit contains three lamps. lamp A turns off when lamp b is turned off, but stays on when lamp C is turned off. lamp C stays on when either lamp A or lamp B is turned off. draw a circuit diagram to show the arrangement of the lamps

It requires, at the least, a Single Pole, Double Throw toggle switch. They are commonly called a SPDT toggle switch. Available in a Center off style, that will be a three position switch. That would allow the circuit to be completely turned off, without disconnecting the power source for the lamps. You could use a two position SPDT toggle switch. If you look at my photo, the switch would be in either position 1 or position 2. My logic: With the switch in position (1), lamp (C) is on. Lamps (A & B) are off. Lamp (C) is in parallel with the power source. With the switch in position (2), Lamp (C) is off and lamps (A & B) are on. Lamps (A & B) are is series

"if you look at my photo" lol you copied this from yahoo answers

When does lamp B come on?

Like with A on, and C off What is B (on or off) Or is it a "don't care"?
