Find the missing terms in arithmetic sequence ,_,_,42,_,60

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

is an arithmetic sequence, meaning a number is being added to get the next term so, let's take a peek at 42 so 42, next term will be 42 + "some number" next term will be (42 + "some number") + "some number" = 60 so... what do you think is the number that's being added? lemme put it this way \(\large \begin{array}{ccccl} \_,\_,42,&\_,&60 \\\hline\\ &\uparrow &\uparrow \\ &42+{\color{red}{ n}}&42+{\color{red}{ n}}+{\color{red}{ n}} \end{array}\implies 42+{\color{red}{ n}}+{\color{red}{ n}}=60\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

once you know what "n" is, or the value being added, use that to get the other terms
