what grade and what math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The volume of a fish tank is 50 cubic feet. If the density is 0.5fish over feet cubed, how many fish are in the tank? 10 100 5 25 I think its 100. \[\frac{0.5fish}{50^3} = xFish\] \[50\div0.5 = 100\]

hartnn (hartnn):

thats not correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Before this, I thought it was 25.

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\Large \#fish = \text{volume in ft^3} \times \text{density in fish/ft^3} \\ = \large 50 \times 0.5 =25 \) yes, 25 is correct :)
