. Enzymes are catalysts. This means that they are able to speed up chemical reactions. Which of the following statements is also true of enzyme catalysts?

And the following are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They increase the energy that is released by reactions. They increase the energy that must be absorbed by reactions. They are not used up by reactions. They must be continuously replaced after each catalyzed reaction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C) they are not used up by reactions. This is part of the definition of an enzyme. You'll see that the process of catalyzing a reaction process tends to change the shape and makeup of the enzyme but by the end of it it is the same as when it started. The point of the enzyme is to provide an environment that is ideal for a certain reaction to have a higher probability of occuring. There is zero net change in the enzyme from the reaction however.

preciate it man :)

enzyme just help in speeding up a chemical reaction they themselves not used in that reaction,so option c
