Help?
sup
\[\left| -2 \right|-(-3^2)+2(-1+3)\]
Can you help me evaluate this please?
and im gone xD
absolute value is always positive.
Okay so now -2 is 2.
I clicked something and I left the question, don't know what it was .... \(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf | 2| ~~~-(3)^2~~~+2(-1+3) }\) \(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf ~│~~~~~~~~~~~│~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~│ }\) \(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf ~▼~~~~~~~~ ~▼~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~▼ }\) \(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf 2~~~~~~-9+~~~~~2(2) }\)
finish it off.
-3
Yes exactly !
Thank you :)
Not a problem :)
3^2=9 \[-(-3^2) =-(-9)=9\]
Oh, my bad, I thougfh it was (-3)^2, but it is (-3^2 )
Thank you to both of you :)
\(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf | 2|~~ -(-3^2)~~+2(-1+3) }\) \(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf 2~~~~~ -(-9)~~~~+2(2) }\) \(\Large\color{blue}{ \bf 2~~~~~~~~~ +9~~~~~~~+4 }\)
it was (-3^2) where the power of 2 doesn't go on the minus, and not, as I thought, (-3)^2 where the power goes on the minus as well.
