According to Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, gravity emerges from the curvature of space time by matter and energy. Note that it's not necessary for something to have mass to bend space-time. That something only needs to have energy and momentum. Nonetheless, the second answer is correct. I've attached a drawing for the second part of the question, the part about the ice cube on the ramp. You can see the gravity vector, g, pointing down. You can also see two components of the gravity vector. You need to calculate the component of the gravity vector that points down the ramp. Note the angle in the component vector triangle that is 12°. Also
