WELCOME TO OPEN STUDY!! @britnee42012 ..We'll be there to help you! Ohkk..so you wants the function of a xylem..Basically xylem is a transport tissue found in plants, there's another one: Phloem. So, Xylem's work is to transport water and other minerals from root to other parts of the plant..like leaves :) and thats what we need here ! :) Phloem , The opposite work! :)
