solve for x: a right triangle has a short leg of 6 and a hypotenuse of radical 41. (PLEASE HELP!)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where is x involved here??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, I said that the short leg is 6 and the hypotenuse is radical 41. which leaves only one leg for x to be.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the Pythagorean relation, x^2 + 6^2 = 41^2

I'll try it, thanks!
