Explain how Galileo used a thought experiment of a ball on a ramp to conclude that an object would stay in constant motion if no net force acted on it.

when he made surface almost friction less....and kept two wedges inverted...he saw that ball always reached the same height on the other wedge no matter even if we change the angle...so he thought that if he makes the angle zero..the ball wud try to achieve the maximum height ie. infinity and so will continuosly move on...
