Does the legacy of apartheid compare with the legacy of racism in the United States?

yes, they were was racial segregation but now both are resolved.

I don't know if I would agree that the legacy of racism in the United States is "resolved". While the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the election of the nation's first black president definitely helped, America still has a ways to go before racism is non-existent.

But racial segregation in terms of US laws, is resolved. Racism is definitely still here /
