The Spanish made a long hard effort to expel the Moors (muslims) from Spain. Castille and Aragon united in 1492. Their the combined forces ran the muslims out and established Catholicism. No muslims or the Jews they tolerated were tolerated. The Inquisition made sure there were no dissenters. That pretty much rules out option A, and C. Also suggests D as the correct answer. A quick check of the Hundred Years War reminds us that in ran from 1337 to 1453. Spain wasn't united unitl 40 years after the war ended. So B can't be true.
