HELP!!!!! If you were a solider in the Union Army, in what way were your spiritual needs addressed? There was simply not enough time to dedicate to the troops' spirituality. The government did not provide any sort of religious education to troops. Church services were held on a monthly basis for troops. Organized, spiritual guidance was provided to the troops through chaplains.
