OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

How does the slope of the red triangle compare to the slope of the blue triangle? A. The slope of the blue triangle is twice the slope of the red triangle B. The slope of the red triangle is steeper than the slope of the blue triangle C. The slope of the two triangles are the same D. The slope of the red triangle is half the slope of the blue triangle I think its A or D, i think its more D?

A and D both means the same thing !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right? lol

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

The slope is rise/run slope of blue triangle is 4/6 which reduces to 2/3 slope of red triangle is - 2/3 so what do you think now ?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

A?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

that should tell you that A and D are wrong because there can't be two right answers

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

oh

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Is it B?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

@texaschic101

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Do u know the answer @Reaper534

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Why do you say B?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Cuz Texaschick said it wasnt A or D, so I think it might be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tbh i thought it was D

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Think about the Maths we are dealing with, rather than guess work! :) We said that the slope of each was equal to 2/3 (the blue triangle was 4/6 = 2/3, and the red triangle was 2/3 already). Reread your answer choices, and think about it again.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHH simplify 4/6 and u get 2/3 and blue is already 2/3 so that means they both are the same right?
