anyone know which version of python for this course

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm found it... thanks anyways

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Any 2.x is pretty good.

One difference though I must mention, I was using python 2.7.3, which allows integer division and returns float, e.g., 1/5 is 0.2 in my python, while for him it was showing 0. Their python must be older than 2.7.3

thanks guys

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Actually, older than 2.7.x. There are a few changes in 2.7 to make it more forwards compatible with where 3 is going. It is the transitional version. Most of these are minor differences. 3.x, on the other hand, has some major differences in it.
