What is the chief characteristics of the noble gases

Noble gases He, Ne, Ar, Kr,Xe He have full K core (2 electrons) Others have octet in outer shell. Elements does not form compounds easily. But there are compounds with Oxygen and Fluorine. Gas exist in single atoms, not molecules. Because of week interactions between atoms, elements have low melting and boiling point.
