State whether the following is an example of inductive reasoning or deductive reasoning. You learned from your science teacher that water expands when you freeze it. The next time you freeze your water bottle, you leave room for the water to expand to avoid having the bottle crack.

Inductive

Its inductive. You took what someone else told you and included in your knowledge. If you froze your water bottle and it burst you could have deducted that the water expands when freezing and you should leave a bit of space next time.
