- Can someone take me through Mohr's Circle?

OpenStudy (asylum15):

I've been given the question above but struggling to understand the concept + graphing. Would appreciate some guidance. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol no offense and I'm pretty sure you need help cuz its hard but Mohr's Circle reminds me somehow of LOTR.

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

I haven't covered something like this previously, so I had to do some research. I don't know if I can do an in-depth explanation justice myself, so I won't make my attempt. I think this video does an excellent job on explaining the setup and motivation (YouTube): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo8sduJ6S50 [7min 50sec] It seems to be a formula heavy process cranking out the items requested, but just that it is all given. I can try to emphasize any points that remain unclear, or perhaps someone more familiar with Mohr's Circle will be able to help out in time! :)
