a.2 1/10 b.5 1/5 c.5 1/2 d.11 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok well, if he bought 11 bottles of water and each is 1/2 a liter, what is half of eleven?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so work from there..... if he bought 11 bottles of water and each of them is 1/2 of a liter then..... what would you multiply to get to your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could also add 1/2 eleven times.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11*7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.5*7=3.5 11*3.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now we are getting somewhere..... so your answer would be.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=38.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you would get 23/50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so what do i do to make it one of the answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):
