You and three friends own a paint shop. The shop's profit was $536 in the first month. You always divide the profits equally. In two months, each of you had made $224. How much profit did the shop make in the second month? A.$88 B.$312 C.$360 D.$1920

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

so divide 536 by 4 so 536/4 = your salary for the first month 134 dollars take that and subtract it from 224 so 90 dollars was your salary for the second month. multiply 90 by 4 and vuala! 360 dollars :)

Hope this helps :) Have a wonderful evening/day and welcome to Openstudy!
