I am not familiar with the last problem, but here are some facts that, when used properly, will help you solve the problems. Any similar figures have a scale factor, say a:b. This scale factor is equal to any corresponding lengths, or dimensions of the figures, so a:b. Any ratios of corresponding areas will be a squared: b squared. Then any volumes will be a cubed: b cubed.
