OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's either C or D

zepdrix (zepdrix):

`Jerry's` house `Lisa's` strategy Yah those possessive forms look good. `chefs` cooking Anything look wrong with this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I think it may needs an apostrophe but i'm not sure but I think so..

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hmm that's what it seems like. Yay good job \c:/

zepdrix (zepdrix):

aromas isn't possessive of anything. So we don't really need an apostrophe there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which sentence contains an incorrect possessive form? A. I read both Grant's and Kendrick's essays yesterday. B. Eric and Ryan's soccer team is the only team that my uncle coaches. C. Both Shira and Kate's feet were sore after the long hike. D. My aunt and uncle's new house is in Delaware.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zepdrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's either A or C

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Well ummm, it seems like B, C and D all follow the same form: They put the apostrophe on the second of possessive names.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

A is really the only one that breaks this pattern yes?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Oh it has the word "both" in A and C. I see. So maybe something else is going on there. Hmm

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Yah it might be C. Bahh now I don't know >.< lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well yes but you're suppose to put seperate 's at the end of the name if it's seperate ownership..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Likek why would they own the same essay? seperate ownership..And only if they're conjoin twins that's the only way they could own the same feet...so idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why did you delete it? I wasn't done reading :P

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Bahhh you're too smart for me >.< I dunno why you need my help on this lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

zepdrix (zepdrix):

I think you're on the right track here :U C seems like the correct choice. I'm not very good at english though :) So I can't say 100% lol

zepdrix (zepdrix):
