Tell if the events are independent or dependent. Explain your reasoning. A spinner lands on 10. The same spinner is spun again and lands on 10 again. A. The events are independent, because the events affect each other. B. The events are dependent, because the events affect each other. C. The events are independent, because the events do not affect each other. D. The events are dependent, because the events do not affect each other.

"Two events are independent if the occurrence of one has no effect on the occurrence of the other." For example If you have Cheerios for breakfast today and I have Raisin Bran, those two events are independent. You don't know me and would have no way of knowing what I'm having for breakfast today. On the other hand, if I have cereal for breakfast, it's going to be with milk. So my hauling out the cereal is going to influence whether or not I haul out the milk as well, right? Hope this helps you find the correct answer.
