I'm taken by light
Choked by night
Exist through the day
Tamed by dismay
I leave in curiosity
I dream but stay unspoken
Because I was the one awoken into a deep sleep
Called myself.
Now nothing's left
I speak to the shadows
They drift in bare life
I wreak with conviction
The hatred called myself.
Now I'm deaf
And it's good
Because there's nothing left to be said
To you
So me
I bleed in the midnight sun
They say I am dun
So I run along the beach
Even though the aching sand
Is not my demand
I stay in a lost command
I speak through the wind
But you just hear a chime
So I go to climb higher.
Now I'm watching you ignore
Today was supposed to be the day
And I'm late
Oh great.
Now I feel of the fear
You once convinced me I'd know
So I speak in the dark
Looking for my lost spark
Because a reflection is as lost as the shadow inside of you...
