Mass and weight have essentially the same meaning. To increase the weight of an object requires an increase in the mass of the object. I think this is true because if you increase weight you also make atoms do something..... idk

But at the same time your not increasing it by how much your increasing the weight?

weight is mass times gravitational acceleration, so weight does not equal mass, though if one doubles, so does the other
