Help please!! How many chromosomes are in human gametes? 1) forty-six unreplicated chromosomes 2) twenty-three unreplicated chromosomes 3) forty-six replicated chromosomes 4) twenty-three replicated chromosomes I know that their are twenty-three chromosomes in the gamete cell but I don't know whether they are replicated or unreplicated. Help!
it's unreplicated
How do you know. Can you please explain?
Humans are diploid and have 46 chromosomes right? So, there are 23 single chromosomes in human gametes. And 1 set of chromosomes are found in each human gamete.
Okay. But how do you know whether it is unreplicated or replicated?
2) twenty-three unreplicated chromosomes
because you get 23 from sperm and 23 from the egg to make you. they are unreplicated because they randomly choose what chromosomes to use in each sperm.
