OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sadaws

OpenStudy (anonymous):

58.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, Kyle already answered. My computer is slow, lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you want to know how we got that answer @sadaws ?

OpenStudy (jack1):

58.6... 3rd times the charm ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks i'm not good with decimals and fractions so most of my questions will be about that. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I can help on that :) @sadaws

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My biggest problem is converting decimals to fractions and vice versa Multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kyle220406

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok, that's no problem add me as a friend or whatever I can help you :) @sadaws

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok how do I do that on here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got it right? @sadaws

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok kool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To round to the nearest 10th, you have to see what the numbers are. Ex: 58.642 The first number after the decimal is the tens place. So you have to see whether or not the second number is higher or lower than 5. If it's higher, you round up. If it's lower, round down. To convert decimals to fractions, you just move the decimal point over, if that makes sense. I'm not very good at explaining, sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 58.642 = 58.6 since the 4 isn't higher than 5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so if it was like 89.723 to the nearest tenth it would be 89.7?? @Mathishard13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep @sadaws

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but if it something like 89.755 it would be 89.8 @sadaws

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok kool but if it was the nearest hundredths would it be what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The hundreds place is the second number after the decimal. To find the hundreds, you look at the third number after the decimal. Example: 89.723 = 89.72 since the 3 is lower than 5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if the 3 was say a 6 then it would be 89.73 or what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct! Since it would be higher than 5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @Mathishard13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problemo.
