Juan drives around a corner at constant speed. His car accelerates. a.) False b.) True

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will someone please help me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Acceleration is a change in velocity. If there is no change in velocity, there is no acceleration.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So false right? Because there is no change in velocity!??! :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could I ask you a few more questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's Rubbish.... Acceleration is there when there is a change in direction so while dricing through the corner there is a change is direction so acceleration... THE normal component of acceleration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thats makes more sense! Can I ask YOU a couple more questions????
