3y²-3y over y -1 Will give medal and fan.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3y(y-1)/(y-1)=3y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y \neq 3?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wants the restriction on the variables so what's that haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mm haha I just simplified the whole thing I didn't know what you were looking for sorry. And well let me try with restriction :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's fine haha thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y cannot be 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what you gotta do in here is look for the denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and set an equation |dw:1399180036758:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add 1 on both sides and y=1 soo you plug in the value in the denominator and it will be 1-1 which is equal zero. So y cannot be 1
