PLEASE GUIDE ME, DON'T GIVE THE ANSWER. A device that can be used to measure the speed of a bullet. The device consists of two rotating disks, separated by a distance of d= .850m and rotating with an angular speed of 95.0 rad/s. The bullet first passes through the left disk and then through the right disk. It is found that the angular displacement between the two bullet holes is 0.240 rad. From these data, determine the speed of the bullet?
This is my understanding of it, if the total angular displacement between both disks is =.240 rad that means that each disk has an angular displacement of .1200 rad. Therefore I went to calculating the time it would take for the bullet to cover that displacement utilizing equation: \[w=\theta/t \] working equation: \[t=\theta/w\] t=.1200/47.5rad/s = .0025s
