Which eastern European nation was NOT politically influenced by the Soviet Union during the Cold War? a. Bulgaria b. Romania c. Lithuania d. Yugoslavia

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd go with (D) Yugoslavia. Under Tito, Yugoslavia still became a communist nation, but it was a communist nation without Soviet influence directing its role which was pretty notable. Tito believed that his country should follow its own path pertaining to communism and succeeded in remaining independent. The other nations on the list more or less became pawns of the Soviets as pieces of the Eastern Bloc with heavy influence over their governments.

I`m not sure,but I think It`s (c).

C is a good choice, because Lithuania wasn't an independent state, but it still was influenced by the actions of Moscow; Yugoslavia, however, was almost completely independent from Moscow and it's political decisions.
